Maybe if he does that, it might help some of the team discord and possible departures from both players and recruits. If he doesn't do that, this ship could become the Titanic real soon.

The point is to hold the roster together for next year... he needs to keep BK for that.
I'm not sure what value it would have for him to work directly under the last two coaches who were chased out.
He can go somewhere else and return as our white knight (pun) when this debacle ends.
Who cares about next year? Stallings is here for six. If nobody wants to play under him as HC, make Stallings find replacements. It's not BK's responsibility to fix this.
Stallings is a better recruiter than Dixon. Honestly, he may feel they those guys aren't good enough to play for him.
I'm pretty sure Kithcart is good enough to play for any school in the ACC , he's really blown up , and Manigault is no project

Why didn't you list his current recruiting class? Wouldn't that be more relevant? Or did the fact that his signed 2016 class is one 3-star and one non-rated player simply not fit your agenda?
I would hope Stallings is smart enough to read the situation, the circumstances under which he was hired, and the attitude at Pitt. If he's surprised by any of this I'm even more concerned.
His current class is no better than Dixon's. And, his last two classes have both been huge. Pitt fans were up in arms over roster turnover. This guy seems no better.
He may be a "better recruiter" than Dixon, but someone needs to show me some actual evidence that it's substantially better.
