The Big12 had 4 teams ranked in the Top 25 in the final 2024 AVCA rankings. Are the big12 schools any good?
What about these teams though? Obviously I see psu on there but we aren't playing themThe Big12 had 4 teams ranked in the Top 25 in the final 2024 AVCA rankings.
ASU and TCU were both ranked. What about these teams though? Obviously I see psu on there but we aren't playing them
Think fringe Top 25 teams for the coming season. Both made the Round of 32 last year, but TCU just lost their superstar who did most of their scoring (Melanie Parra, graduating) and ASU lost all four players that were on an All-America list last year: their setter, libero, best middle and best outside. What about these teams though? Samara Coleman went to TCU after dumping Pitt, right?Think fringe Top 25 teams for the coming season. Be aware that these games are NOT part of the 2025 Pitt volleyball season ticket package. Tickets MUST be purchased through the PPG Paints Arena ticket office.
Pitt - TCU and Penn State - ASU on the 31st, Pitt - ASU and Penn State - TCU on the 1st.
"Nobody cares about women’s volleyball." - SMFThey stole my idea of having a big off-campus volleyball match on Labor Day Weekend. I have to stop giving these ideas away for free. All events should take place on the North Shore.
Thursday - Steeler exhibition
Friday - Pitt volleyball at PNC Park
Saturday - Pitt football vs FCS
Sunday - Pitt soccer men's/women's DH vs PSU or WVU
Monday - The Clarks
I think the rumor was that she didn't pass one of pitt's medical tests, was that ever confirmed or anything?Samara Coleman went to TCU after dumping Pitt, right?
Certainly not confirmed publicly- but that seemed to be the prevailing wisdom .I think the rumor was that she didn't pass one of pitt's medical tests, was that ever confirmed or anything?

How did you find that picture of SMF? I've always wondered if he was a teenager with nothing else to do but spend his time on message boards!![]()
Oh look, it's back in the volleyball threads.
I'm on it.Be aware that these games are NOT part of the 2025 Pitt volleyball season ticket package. Tickets MUST be purchased through the PPG Paints Arena ticket office.
Securing tickets by using the presale process on Tuesday was not easy and straightforward. The event venue....PPG Paints Arena....stated the presale event would begin at 10 AM. It did through Ticketmaster which sent out their code to be used for people that had registered for the presale. Tickets were confined to the lower bowl and they went quickly. You could actually see seat after seat 'disappearing' in real time minute by minute......especially in the most sought after sections after the clock struck 10 AM. Around 12 noon....Pitt released an email with a different code than what Ticketmaster had given earlier. By then the best seats were long gone. If you were keeping notes....this wacky process was a muddled mess (clusterf**k in other words). Tomorrow the tickets become available to the general public. I assume that will be when the upper bowl also becomes available. As they should be!
I actually had a coworker send me the email he received directly from PPG arena and yes, it was wild how fast they were disappearing. I know this is PPG's thing and they probably wanted to give their regulars first crack. I would have shared that code had I realized what was going on.Securing tickets by using the presale process on Tuesday was not easy and straightforward. I tried to get tickets late last night, and upper bowl seats were available, which I bought for Sunday. When I tried to buy tickets for Monday, it kept refusing to process my request by claiming I needed to log into my account. Of course, I was logged into my account and had already purchased tickets. After trying several times, including logging out and logging back in, I gave up. Ticketmaster sucks, as just about everyone knows.Securing tickets by using the presale process on Tuesday was not easy and straightforward. They do indeed. I'll never complain again about the Pitt ticket office when they move VB games from the Fitz to the Pete.
