That first series perfectly encapsulates the Stiller offense. First down, man open behind the defense, noodle armed quarterback can't even come close to throwing the ball far enough so instead of a big gain it's nearly intercepted. Second down, Benny Snell gains his standard two yards. Third down, throw a pass way behind the receiver that he can't catch, but even if he did he had almost no chance at all to make the first down.
Steelers offense is painful to watch. Will get pounded in the playoffs.
I think it’s Bens knee not his arm.The knee is worse than we probably know.
Not a crazy thought. Ben looked fairly good at one point. Something changed cause he’s looked pretty ragged the last couple games.

Or else the league caught on to the fact that they haven’t been able to throw deep all season or really run the ball and made adjustments. You can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again in the NFL, teams catch on pretty quickly.
Ben isn't even trying. To say he's half-assing it would be giving him too much credit. He's giving his linemen funny looks if he ends up on the ground. Give me a break. If he's hurt, sit him until the playoffs. Who cares which seed you are at this point? You need a healthy quarterback.
I will not miss Big Ben when he retires. He has really aged. It happens and you only have to look at Eli Manning whose arm went to mush at the age of 34.

Maybe my memory fails me but I didn’t think they were quite this heavy on dink and dunk. But certainly the run game’s been an issue.
I hate that tis team is going to be in the playoffs. They are beyond horrible. I honestly have no clue how they won eleven games. They belong home for the playoffs! Ben and the offense are an unwatchable mess and the defense has been ravaged by injuries to the same positions. Wish the season ended tonight, They are just totally unwatchable!

And the bad thing is that not only does everyone know it, but the Stillers know that everyone knows it, and they still aren't doing anything different. Which tells you that the Stillers don't think that Roethlisberger can do anything more than what he is doing now.
And when you see him underthrowing that first pass the way he did and short-hopping a 12 yard throw, they are probably right.
Give Ben one more possession and if nothing improves, then you have to go Rudolph IMO.
Yep, they should be playing the field position game since the Steelers can’t get a first down.
My best guess is Ben has some kind of injury because he wasn't this bad until the last few weeks. He can't throw an accurate ball past the line of scrimmage these days.
