Idowu. Not sure if it's a good thing that our freshman QB is strong enough to beat a linebacker at tug of war or if it's just sad that one of our starting linebackers lost in tug of war to a QB.
Speed, speed, speed and explosive power.TMAC has those 4.5 40 legs....speed and strength ...
It's not Pugh. It's Idowu.
Pugh lost because he wasn't low and his feet weren't positioned properly. He consistently only had one foot planted on the ground. Need both legs anchored in this competition so you can use your legs.
My 5 year old neice could beat Idowu
Buzz kill.Throw for 40 tds and 5 picks in a season then I'll be impressed. This means nothing
Cool, thanks for your contribution.Throw for 40 tds and 5 picks in a season then I'll be impressed. This means nothing
I stand corrected. Someone said Pugh on twitter. Actually makes me feel better
Why would that make you feel better? Idowu was a starter at LB. We need big, athletic LBs!
Agreed. Some of the best QBs have been fat tubs of goo (including the Steelers current QB).Throw for 40 tds and 5 picks in a season then I'll be impressed. This means nothing
Yeah actually now that you say that... I kind of like this tug of war game, but I wouldn't be thrilled about any of our qb's taking part in it.Agreed. Some of the best QBs have been fat tubs of goo (including the Steelers current QB).
I was honestly more afraid when opening this thread that it would disclose Macvittie had ripped something in his shoulder or knee preforming this dubious stunt.

Idowu was a former walk on and probably started because of injury to zeise.
I have high hopes for Pugh
Yes! Big things to come from him. I'm counting on it.
Interesting! I'm not sure if I'm impressed with your analysis or concerned that you know that.
It's called understanding leverage and footwork. You know, the reason the actually run this drill.
