Tailback question?

91 Pitt grad from near the Youngstown area. Saw there's been a blackout on news of sorts this week. Wondered if those closer to the team knew if there was news on whether Todd Sibley will get PT this week or even this year?

Caught some of last week's game against the YSU, and it was cool that Hall got a number of carries in the game. But Sibley's joining the team had me psyched because he was a dynamic back in these parts and it was exciting when we got him. Seemed every tailback got action on Saturday BUT Sibley (unless I missed something) ... is he headed for a redshirt? Injured? Bad camp? Etc.

Hoping for a 13-9 kind of shocker on Sat!

Neither Sibley nor Shawntez Moss played from among Pitt's 5 scholarship TB's. This week? We'll have to wait to see.

Neither he nor Moss saw any action this past weekend, but I wouldn't read too much into it. My hope is Sibley continues to develop with Davis. Both players are incredibly gifted and will be a huge part of the success of the PITT program.

I'm glad it seems to mean there's solid competition but I have to say I expected Sibley would be in the running to start out of gate. He has that kind of motor, at least up to now. So i was surprised.
