Keldric Preston has had a busy month, and it wrapped up with a visit to Pitt on Saturday.

"That was my first time there, and it was great," the Tampa (Fla.) Robinson defensive end told Panther-Lair.com. "I came in and met Coach (Rob) Harley, and we just clicked, and I talked to Coach (Tom) Sims a little bit and they took us on a tour of the school, and it was all set up really nice.

"I talk to Coach Harley every week, and we have a great relationship. He was the one I talked to when they offered me a month ago, and we have a really good bond. We really click together."

Pittsburgh is a long way from Tampa, but Preston's visit was part of a longer road trip, and it was important for him to check out the Panthers.

"My parents and I want to make a decision that's going to stick; I don't want to be changing my commitment after I make it, so I have to go visit the schools I'm going to consider, and since I'm considering them, I wanted to make sure I visited them before I made a decision," Preston said. "I'm looking at an August decision, but something could happen before then."
