Back & forth game. GT big 2nd half hitting 3’s and makes 2 FT’s with about 2 seconds left to go up 2.

TCU throws ball full court to Emanuel Miller (dude is a baller for Dixon) who appears to hit game winning off balance 3. But replay showed he clearly stepped out of bounds. However replay rules don’t allow refs to overrule an out of bounds call the refs missed, so TCU gets win. Crazy ending.

Game just ended so can’t post a video of ending yet.

Still a Dixon fan but IMO his Pitt teams played with a lot of discipline whereas his TCU teams the past few years (which is very talented this season) doesn't. Coaching this team has to be driving him crazy.

His team had some really bad fouls to help GT come back. Now doubt it’s stressing him, did you see all the grey hair…

But he plays a fun style so far this year. Plays lots of quick athletes with talent. Miller looks like an NBA wing. They haven’t played anyone yet but have talent, depth and should have a nice year in a real good B12.

If the point of replay is to correct obvious errors, and replay shows an obvious error, then it is absurd that it can’t be corrected.

Is the rule that you can only review it if a call is actually made?

Yes. But that should be changed for something like the last 2 minutes of the game so refs huge mistake doesn’t decide a game.

What’s funny is they did a review to see if Miller got the shot off in time which he did. But the announcers thought they were reviewing his foot being out of bounds. They explained to JD & Cooley (the announcer heard the explanation) they can’t change a call that wasn’t made and Cooley was in disbelief although he handled it in his post game comments with class.
