Still not sure what to make of this. People have been mentioning this as a real possibility for over a week. However, we have been through this how many times. With that being said, maybe there is some smoke because this one is different. There is no way that Dixon and his agent are floating information for a raise and extension. He already has a ton of years and $ on it, and he is coming off of a game where they scored 43 points and were average at best all season. We are also dealing with a new AD, so the comfort level isn't there. I would just love to know who gave this to Gary Parrish to run with.
We shall see. UNLV is out of the picture. No interest from UNLV. A lot of people wondering about how TCU could buy Dixon out. Well, these buyouts are negotiable. It all depends on how Barnes feels and who he has in his back pocket.
