Congrats to @pitt90seven and his Crystal Palace for winning Englands oldest trophy. Absolutely amazing!

Congrats to USA’s Chris Richards too. He was stellar in the back. Matty Turner is now an FA Cup winner as well.

So many incredible scenes at Wembley.

what a scene. can't believe it. club is around since the 1860's and has never won anything. AND we just took some club's European spot.

That’s what I was wondering. I just asked it in another thread. How ironic if it was Man City’s spot they took? It still might be Chelsea’s sadly depending on what happens on the final match day. Chelsea will be in Champions League with a win. And with a loss can still get Europa qualification by winning the Conference League Final.

160 years and not one major trophy? Hard to believe.

It was great to see them with a trophy the same year as Newcastle’s first major trophy in 70 years.

Are Jordan and Dean Henderson related?

Meanwhile, to me Pep looks as if he is just coaching from memory now. Used to be very active on the sideline; now he sits and talks to his assistants for half the game. He used to seldom make mistakes on transfers. Now, he seldom gets them right. He can’t devise an offense to get Haaland involved. I hope he hangs it up after this season even though he has one year left on his contract.

I don’t think they are related. And regarding Pep, did you see him lose his cool after the match and go at Henderson? That is so unlike him. Honestly, if he has to coach in the Conference League next year, I wonder if he would decide to hang it up early.

Also regarding Henderson, I’m glad to see he got away from United after rotting behind DrGea all those years. And it’s hard to imagine Matt Turner making the saves he did today. I wonder if Henderson will be replacing Pickford for the Three Lions?

hando certainly made a statement today.

pep went right to hando after a game like a giant baby. as if his teams haven't gotten an overwhelming amount of calls over the years. pretty sure hando told him to the effects of, "**** off." pep is a shitbag cry baby.
