That honestly was one of the cleanest high level games I have ever watched.

We really missed James Conner but a really great game by both teams. Just really well played.

Those two picks I can honestly forgive because they were great defensive efforts.

I bet Pitt will be pissed but they know they have got something to work with here. We are going to win a lot of these games.

Peterman had a great second half and fourth quarter especially. Can't forgive anything. Second Pick was him forcing the ball to Tyler when he clearly was not open. I understand why anyone would do it, but Chad gets bashed for it so will Peterman. Good to have a week off to get some kids healthy and on to VA Tech.

True, tip your hat to Iowa too... few turnovers and penalties (albeit the no PI on the big pass)

Both teams didnt give up any big plays... solidly played both teams. Their QB was the difference, good player.

Very impressed with how much Pitt has improved. Tough physical team you have. Only in year one of PN era you looked like what we've seen in his Mich St teams of the past. I hope you dominate the ACC and will be rooting for your Panthers. Much respect for how hard you play.

Agree that was a big time D1 college football game.
I thing think Peterman made big strides, but he forced bith throws. Seeing how the cb p@ayed that first pass, he never should have thrown it, but again, he hasnt played a lot and will make more mistakes li'e that as he matures.

Your defense amazed me, both in terms of athleticism and the grasp that the players already have on the schemes of the new staff. Extremely salty and will win you plenty of games on their own. I'll also agree with the OP. It's rare to see a game played that well this early in the season. It was a privilege to see it in person.

Great game. Pitt is going to be solid going forward.

Just be advised........Ferentz will probably retire within 4 years and if I were Iowa I would come in and take narduzzi
