I really wonder what would have happened if we never took the timeout to freeze the kicker. And no I'm not talking about the practice kick because he attempted that kick already knowing the TO was called.
What I'm saying is every kicker in the country knows the TO is coming in that spot if we have a TO on the board. So what I want to do is have Narduzzi next to the ref like he's getting ready to call it, only at the last second he doesn't and the kid takes the kick.
The kid will be fully expecting the timeout and when it doesn't come he will be a little surprised by it. Gotta think doing that and putting some doubt into his mind is better for us than following a script he knows very well.
