was just that; a debacle. Or as some would say, a cluster f***.

I'm sure that last night's game vs TAM got the highest ratings ever for the SEC Network. I watched for obvious reasons; and the more I listened, observed, and thought about it, firing Les Miles made no sense; for now. Here is a man who had no prior ties to the state of LA or that region, took over a program from a successful coach (Saban) who'd won a NC a yr before leaving, and over the 11 yrs he's been there, has averaged 10+ wins a yr, won (and lost) a NC, and has the highest win % of any LSU coach ever!

The outpouring of love and respect for Miles was very evident last night. His players "would go to war" for him. Yes, he is a bit unconventional; yes, he needs to rebuild the offense and develop a decent QB; yes, he needs to allow whoever his next OC is to run the offense. But Les Miles showed last night why HE should stay at LSU. And for some, Joe Alleva (the AD and also a vice-Chancellor at LSU) showed why he might consider leaving, based on the amateurish way that this whole past week was handled. I think it was pretty obvious that when Jimbo Fisher didn't show any warm fuzzies to Alleva, et al, those that wanted Les fired had second thoughts ...
