. . . finesse, non-physical and smaller team. Very nice to see Pitt just overwhelm the Wildcats today. The Panthers made Davidson do what they really didn't want to: have to play tough, physical defense. There are some opponents - especially perimeter shooting mid-majors - that would seem to prefer to make the game a shooting contest instead of a 2-way game on both ends of the floor.
Maybe the depth and competition for playing time will bring out more of the best from the Panthers? Sure hope so. But today was a clinic in overpowering a team built to play like Davidson.
