At least 5 points. Game. As the saying goes...good teams don't do that.
I havent seen it done at the end of each halfYeah... first time I've ever seen a Dixon team do something inexplicable at the end of half/game. Sheesh...
What about the 2nd half lineup?? That contributed mightily to the loss too.Artis makes the 3, we're up 10 at half with the ball and probably win. He misses, we go up 4 instead after giving up a 3 and give that lead up in a minute. Little stuff like that may be why we're hosting the NIT again.
Add to that the two bricks that Robinson and Smith threw up early in the second half on wide open threes. At least 5 points. Game. As the saying goes...good teams don't do that.
yea, the Artis is better than Young chat two months ago is really a hoot in retrospect.I don't really have a huge problem with the Artis three. I remember vividly people on here used to kill Dixon when all Levance would do was dribble out the half and shoot it with one second.
Artis had an open three, he just missed it, and Pitt fell asleep on defense.
It's also kind of hard to consciously not shoot there when you get the ball off of the Miami missed layup, it's not like pitt started with 30 seconds left and ran a quick shot, the end of the half was a bit rag tag.
Also, remember when Artis was better than Sam Young. That was fun

Wow there was a thread about that? That's absurd.
Wow. I never have thought for a second that Artis is better than Young. Sam was a great Pitt player, Artis is merely good at times.I said Sam young was way, way better than Artis, and you'd be surprised how many people disagreed. I had to pump the brakes on that talk

I know, what the heck was that???And the robinson love during ooc for learning how to shoot. Remember the nba talk?
Should have had Luther in(not Jeter) and Wilson(not Smith) imo. What am I missing? It was Young, Artis, Jeter, Smith and Robinson, right?
