In past years, we have done a Blue-Gold Game fantasy challenge, with Panther-Lair.com users facing each other in head-to-head matchups. We didn't put that together for this year, but we've got a different kind of fantasy game that we'll play. Here's how:
Everyone will build a roster and we'll see whose roster can put up the most fantasy points in Saturday's Blue-Gold Game. The points will be standard fantasy football scoring - 6 points for all touchdowns, 1 point per reception, 1 points for 10 rushing or receiving yards, 1 point for 25 passing yards, -2 for a turnover lost and then team and individual scoring on defense - and we'll calculate the results based on Pitt's official box score.
Each team will need the following:
QB
RB
WR
TE
Flex (RB or WR)
DL
LB
DB
Flex (DL, LB or DB)
Team Defense (Blue or Gold)
Pick the players you think will score the highest - remember: it's not always the obvious choices; walk-ons have done in previous spring game fantasy challenges - and then post your roster in this thread.
Here's Jim's breakdown of the rosters; that will come in handy.
