You bring up a good point about the volume of offers.

I think with 1) Covid throwing recruiting/evaluating back by a year or two; and 2) sample sizes showing how important early offers are to developing relationships...

I sadly think offers are going to be even less committable in the future. Basically everyone gets an offer but most are slow played until the staff is convinced they want them. I could see a lot more Rashad Weaver situations playing out and they seem to be already.

It’s one of your better columns Chris but I would like to propose the following.

Every time the names “Dixon”, “Jamie”, “JD” or some derivative is used on this board the perpetrator does 25 push ups for each mention.

That should minimize living in the past.

"Non-commitable" offers aren't really offers.
