To answer your starting safety tandem question, the only year that is crossing my mind might be 2001 with Ramon Walker. The problem is I cant recall we he was paired with which probably makes the answer not 2001. I do know that the DBs that year had some players with a few future NFL guys, but as to whom played the other safety position, I dont know.
