WVU'S Dana Holgrosen mention on potential leaving WVU & Panic At Penn State Again since Joe Moorhead could be leaving!

CBS Sports Article & Link:

Once the season ends, so do coaching tenures.
Now, there will be a lot of the same names thrown about for the open jobs. You're already hearing names like Tom Herman, P.J. Fleck and Les Miles mentioned with possible openings, and to a lesser extent you hear about Lane Kiffin and Dana Holgorsen.
Honorable Mention:

Joe Moorhead, Penn State offensive coordinator

I could see Moorhead moving to a mac school I'm sure Franklin will try to get him a raise if he's still there.
As much as I hate the Nits, which is a whole lot, I think the Morehead hire has saved Slick Jimmy's ass up there. The guy can really coach and I hope he gets a real nice head coach job soon. And not at happy Valley.

Agree, I was very worried about Moorhead from the very start of this season, and look forward with no worry about the 2017 game in Beaver either. I am not sure Moorhead as the personality to be a head Coach and just a Great OC. Moorhead would be a interesting choice for Georgia Tech, Purdue, or Indiana should they change coaches. I like much about Moorhead as Coach & Person, but seems to be better at OC like another Walt Harris and Paul Chryst quiet Doers but not Fired Up Head Coaches.

I also think the Spread Offense can't really match up over all 4 Quarters against Pro Set Teams more often with Great Defenses like Bama, Michigan, USC, Stanford, OU, Clemson, Ohio State and Teams that have great DLs & LBs like many Posters taught me on the Lair. It is exciting to watch, but when it fails, and it does, while Oregon proved it still loses 1 to 2 big games even if it is having a great year. I think smarter College Coaches know this too and NFL or sure! Therefore, Smarter Recruits that want to play in the NFL as well as QBs stay away from the Spread in the end.

However, I am more impressed with what Pry has done with the Defense, and seems to be another Shoop. Yet, Penn State is only beating Teams they should beat. Michigan beat them badly and would do it again. Ohio State will be waiting next year in Columbus watch and see another Blow Out again. Even Pitt will surprise them watch and see? The Spread requires that QB and if he goes down or is stopped you see it fall away fast again. Even those OU QBs have not much down in the NFL?

I welcome being corrected too by Posters far smarter on the Spread too. I just read everything I could on it, and many CFB Programs are running to win 9, 10, and sometimes 11 games, but few win NCS with it? It is really a FCS Offense Band-aide not a National Championship Game

Franklin should get an Extension and all PSU Fans are just happy being ranked again. But OSU, Michigan and other Big Ten will always be a bigger challenge to Franklin but the Penn State Football Culture was really changed when they joined the Big Ten. Patreno won less Titles than Northwestern and Franklin is no Joe Paterno! Too much Inconsistent winning with big blow outs loses in between? Joe could have a few 10+ Years but still came up short against Michigan, OSU, Iowa, Wisky, and Nebraska. PSU is just happy to win 9 and 10 games now. That is big change and their fans don't know it yet!

We shall see?
