Sure wish Vuk would stop doing this nonsense............A few weeks ago it was the silent verbals that he never followed up on and now it's "he'll address the big Rumor tonight"................but not before the dust settles because he doesn't want to hurt any of the parties involved.............

I'll lay money that he wont be addressing "The BIG Rumor".........

Guy has done a good job but he loses tons of credibility when he pulls these marketing gimmicks.

I agree with the OP. It's sort of a passive brag. He wants you to know he knows. But who cares.

Having said that it's clear he works hard at it and does provide good info. But he needs to calm down with stuff like this and "silent commits".

I don't think it's all that hard to figure out what this is about if you've been following along.

Maybe, maybe not. But the coaches shouldn't. When there's a talent this big in your back yard they should go all out to the wire. For a ton of reasons in this case.

Never worry about Rumors, Reality is the final Result! He has an interest in Pitt Football and wants to post what he hears, so be it, but it does not concern me at all, why???....????...Because Coach Pat Narduzzi & Staff & Recruiting Team is already doing a great job in their first Complete Year and that means that will just continue and get better for Pitt Football Team and Program.

It is clear to me and anyone that observes College Football, this Coach Pat Narduzzi that wanted and waited to become a Head Coach all his Life following in his Father's Footsteps on his own.

Coach Pat Narduzzi loves Coaching Football and it is not hard work when you love something, it is just plain out devotion and joy!

Coach Pat Narduzzi also waited and wanted the Head Coaching job at Pitt and when that call came, he was excited to go tell Coach Dantonio at MSU as much as any Recruit waiting to live his dream at the University he wanted to choose and they chose him?

I am not worried at all, I waited to see how good Pat Narduzzi's Coaching would be, because we have seen too many Coaches at Pitt over too short if time? Well, Coach Pat in his first year showed he knows how to be a Head Coach in College Football better than Harris, Wannstedt, Graham and Chryst did, in my opinion.

Coach Pat picked a Staff in weeks not months, met every player, and learned about them, and then just flat out had them change attitudes, focus, practices, and game day prep plans and half time adjustment with a NO QUIT PITT Attitude!

Now Coach Pat has demonstrated he can Recruit in the Top 20-30 this year and that is his FIRST FULL YEAR, it will just get better next year!

Just sit back enjoy watching a Top Coach build pitt Teams into Top 25 Winning Teams and he will do the same making Pitt a Top 25 Program! Pitt Chancellor's Gallagher has picked the Right People to build Pitt Football for a long time!

Rumors can make some excitement but results brings so much more satisfaction! Coach Pat loves being The University of Pittsburgh Head Football coach and Recruits, parents, and Players see and know it!

You are spot on, and Recruiting is an inexact and hard thing to try and predict what is going through the minds of anyone when others want them so badly, one reason I won't follow recruiting and glad others do it on the Lair, I love watching the coaching after the recruiting.

Vuk has been a sports producer (radio/tv) locally for a long time with a lot of relationships. He is working his ass off on the site and his full time job plus wife/young kids/family, so I am just thankful for the 10 minutes I kill twice a day following his twitter and new page. No offense to Chris Peak, but I enjoy that a lot more than this site...that is why I am not premium here anymore. This is a great place to go to talk Penn State, but otherwise, Twitter and links from there are a much better source of info that is free for Pitt recruiting/etc.

I get it and you're right but it's some of what he does is still bush league in my opinion. Provide good information and have a good stable web site and everything else takes care of itself.
