I wonder if Ohio st. brass as well as the fans still want Ryan Day's head after their performance in the CFP? I know beating your bitter rival is huge, but, give me the college football title any Day.

There are a faction of fans who'd rather beat Michigan than win a NC. Its a small, but vocal minority. Ryan Day's job is absolutely safe.

I honestly think that the answer is yes. I think Buckeye fans believe that with a staff of Chip Kelly calling the offense and Jim Knowles calling the defense (two excellent--and very highly paid--coordinators), and a $20 million payroll, another coach could win the national championship without losing to Michigan.
