-Rothstein said he thinks it will go through, but it is not done. He said unless there is a snag somewhere in the contract (buyout or something else). Obviously the fan base being enraged is a snag. He said don't expect announcement for 24-36 hours. I just listened to him, live.

-Oh, he really dumped on the Pitt basketball program too. He thinks we cant recruit or really compete.

-Barnes is going to get buried if this gets completed.

He didn't dump on pitt in my opinion. Said out big East recruiting footprint is hurting because a nyc kid could have family see them in rutgers, and nova, and St johns, etc...those kids would rather stick with the schools that still play in that area.

He said pitt needs a recruiting footprint in North Carolina triangle and perhaps stallings is the guy to do it
