just really dumb. Its ashame they had to cater to the Rose and Sugar Bowl like that. The 2 playoff games are being played on a workday and the worst TV night of the year so we can set the stage for Stanford/Iowa and OKST/Mississippi. Only in college football would this be possible.
As for that Sugar Bowl matchup, you couldnt ask for a worse matchup for TV. 2 non-traditional programs with smallish fanbases from lightly populated states. Will probably be the worst TV rating in a long time for the Sugar.
