Well, pitt had two chances like that in this run. Kent state and Bradley. That said, we usually run into really horrible match ups.

Wsu went straight to the ff.

butler off a title game appearance and then went back when we were a one and they were an 8 but should have been a 5.

Getting nova, a team that had been our kryptonite in the elite eight.

Getting a 4 in 08 and drawing MSU in the second round after we won the big east tourney.

07 we ran into a ff team in ucla

05 we stunk really,

O4 we drew a three when we should have been a one. Got ok st.

In 03 we got Marquette and d wade.

So, 12 times in 14 years we have gone to the tourney. 7 of those 12 times, we lost to the team that ened up emerging from the region. That is really bad luck.
