shooter that can hit a wide open 3 pointer with consistency or a 2G that can score off the bounce and get his own shot in a tight game. Why does every team that beats us seem to have these players but year after frustrating year Pitt simply cannot recruit these positions? Forget a developmental C. That's a waste of a scholarship watching these guys chuck up mortar after mortar this year.

Agreed - u need good guard play in college bball. Manigault can provide some minutes at the 5 next year. I would take a good guard over a developmental C as well.

The consistent shooter doesn't really exists.
Nobody shoots 40% every game

truer words were never spoken! We need a real 222222222222222222222222 guard!

Ever here the guys on the corner ask "WHO NEEDS TWO"? Jamie Does!

Almost everybody in the Rivals 150 is already signed or committed. The best chance of adding an impact scorer at this point of the recruiting cycle is an under the radar juck or a 5th year transfer. We signed supposedly the 2nd or 3rd best 5th year shooter last year in Sterling Smith. That didn't work out too well.

Shooting is likely going to have to come from Kithcart and Slim. Clark was not horrible but far from automatic.

Maybe Clark can be that plus athlete we always seem to be missing. Fingers crossed.

Well, I will give you 4 that are better than Smith without even doing any research. Lewis-Ville, Smith-GT, Carter-BC, and Gibbs-UConn. I am sure I could find more. Just because your stats look good playing for Coppin St does not mean u are good.

Gibbs thumbing his nose at us is probably the most underrated reason why we are battling for a spot in Dayton this year. A legacy recruit with a sweet stroke from 3 who could have accented JRob's play and this staff couldn't persuade him to play his 5th year at Pitt.

Another huge red flag was when Kane comes out and tells a media source he is going to Pitt as a grad transfer, and then the next thing u know he is going to Iowa St. That kid was a warrior for Iowa St.

Pretty unbelievable Pitt wouldn't give his Mom a job like Iowa State did & as far as his playing time demands, after watching these G's play the last two years could ya blame him?

Your mentioning outlier performances. Sorry buddy this G play outside of JRob just can't be defended.
Outliers meaning the previous two games.

I'll go back to this point. NOBODY IS CONSISTENT EVERY GAME.
Not even Steph curry. You go above average , you go below , you get hot, you slump .
Regression to the mean happens

Want a great shooter , me too... Doesn't mean he will be consistent every game.

Not a great example...
Uconn is having a worse year than us failing down the stretch.
