These 2 clearly have a lot going for them. Talent, speed, skill, quickness, stamina, aggressiveness and on and on. But last night they both showed they some real savvy and poise for young guys.
It was very impressive to see both of them play so effectively with early foul trouble. They were able to adjust and still be difference makers while hampered and knowing they couldn't afford any mistakes in terms of getting called for more fouls. (XJ picked up his 3rd with just under 7 mins left in the 1H). Of course they have to learn and do a better job of resisting the temptation to reach in front of the refs.
Also huge props to the other guys on the floor for stemming the tide and actually extending the lead late in the 1H with XJ on the bench with those 3 PF's.
