the ped state blame game sure is busy these days. currently it's sanctions, injuries and b10 officiating conspiracies getting the most focus. let's take a look....

2016 ped state is 14th of 128 teams in fewest penalty yards per game

2015- 16th
2014- 41
2013- 10
2012- 56
2011- 33
2010- 03
2009- 03
2008- 03

there it is. clear evidence the b10 is out to get them. and clear evidence that they were jealous of joe and wanted to screw him!

another current narrative is how "decimated" they are by injuries. compare their list with other teams

http://www.donbest.com/ncaaf/injuries/

4 guys in one unit! no other team has to deal with this! certainly not minnesota! lol! reading their board you'd think they're pulling kids off the IM fields.

keep at it ped state fans. keep telling the real truth. who else is going to tell the world about paterno's innocence and how everyone is out to get you?

They are also very young!-can't forget that part of the current narrative. Regarding penalties, you would think they lost the game vs Michigan bc of that 1 bad targeting call. It was a 39 point penalty!

There is no excuse to get blown out by teams in year three. They have lots of talent to make it at least competitive. What I see a team that's poorly coached.

Michigan is much more talented than PSU.

Michigan State got blown out by Bama last year in Dantonio's 9th season. They got curb-stomped last week by Wisconson in year 10. Is that poor coaching?

You could put any coach on PSU's sideline last week and they were going to get pounded. Now, had PSU gotten blown out at Pitt, I think there should be some outrage. Besides, Franklin is no Jim Harbaugh, and there is no hire they could possibly make that would be either.

at this point, if you can't see it, you're either trying not to, or you don't understand the game at an elementary level. this is a horribly coached team. easily the worst in the east division. ash is better. wilson and durkin are way, way better.

continually trying to provide ridiculous examples to explain your side only makes you look more foolish.

Michigan's record the last 4 years - 7-6, 5-7, 10-3, 4-0. The difference in records is due to coaching. Penn St has talent. Their main problem is coaching.

What you saw against Michigan this past week is a recurring theme. It's not isolated games that you are referencing (Michigan State).

Whenever he has to coach to win games or stay competitive, he looks lost. Bad game day decisions, lack of adjustments, bad personnel decisions, bad clock management, etc...

Should I post Franklin's entire resume again and let you decide?

ped state has something like 26 four stars on their roster. yep. no talent

Corrrect! I don't care how young they are, if you have that many four star players you should be able to stay in the game for at least a while. It was over in the first quarter...

The guy kicked a FG on 4th and 2 while down 28 zip in the 3rd quarter. The old "Dominator" looked awfully weak right there.

Go Pitt

They don't have the talent to stay competitive with Michigan or tOSU, regardless of coaching.

Unless you use isolated refrences for PSU, 7-6 & 7-6 for his first 2 seasons is pretty much what they are.

And called a timeout when the game clock was running down. It would have made it a 33 yarder. Poor decision.

Well, Booger McFarland & David Pollack are championing Les Miles for the PSU job.

If you want to see poor game management, Les is hard to top. However, he will damn sure trot out a lot more talented roster than Jimmy Franks could ever hope for.

TD - they've had 2 highly ranked recruiting classes in a row. In fact that's all we heard about was how much talent Franklin is amassing. At some point all the excuses look just like it is - excuses. The guy just cannot win a game as the underdog.

Which means those recruits are freshman and sophomores. And this last class was borderline Top 20. That sucks and won't cut it.

He won plenty as an underdog at Vandy.

Good for him cause he ain't doing it at PSU. Narduzzi managed to do it 4 time in just his first year as a HC.

I don't get you. You make snide comments about Pitt and its record, but stick up for PSU. What's up with that?

you have to ask? TD_Nitter is truly a deep cover troll. His man crush on Franklin is bizarre to say the least. Outside of Franklins 3rd cousin twice removed who lives in the Hill district (making him a Pittsburgh guy according to the PG), no one stands up for the coach like TD_nitter.
