Was it me or did Kirk Herbstreet sound like he was out of it. I get my mids didn’t put up much of a game but Kirk sounded depressed.

Hockey has seemed to catch some magic with all this in that I forget its being played in an empty arena

Baseball has been “OK”, but the Pirates guaranteed I wouldn’t be seeing a lot of games that meant anything to me.

NBA has felt like a summer league. Maybe when it gets to the Finals it will be better?

First look at college football has seemed dull...I’m hoping it’s just the matchups. Really hoping that we come out of this coming weekend excited for an “almost” normal college and NFL season

It is simple, his beloved little 10 is not playing. That’s why!!!!!!

Well the NHL and NBA are in playoffs. The games have been mostly good and intense. I think they have done the set ups and crowd noise well. But...if you think about it, your eyes for those two sports are really fixated to the court and rink. Baseball and football, outdoor sports in big arenas, the balls fly in the air, it is hard to hide the crowdless factor. I thought the first game with Austin Peay and was it MTSU was okay, with a partial crowd.

Most of the issue with college football has just been the games sucked.
I thought the sideline feed was too loud in BYU-Navy, almost like ESPN overcompensated for the lack of crowd noise.
But when SMU-Texas State was well into the second half and it started to feel like an opposite was possible, my interest in the game wasn’t any less because of a lack of crowd.
