doesn't have much to look forward to are CRAZY!!! Let's think about the best 4 year players who played under Dixon. Sam Young, Levance Fields, Chevy Troutman, Ashton Gibbs, Brad Wannmaker, Lamar Patterson, Talib Zanna,..etc (I am sure I am missing a bunch). Let's look at how good those players were in their sophomore year. Fast forward to this years team. Young, Artis and Newkirk. All sophomores. All 3 have made good to great strides over their freshman year. I remember wishing Wannamaker and Patterson were booted off the team during their sophomore years because they were so bad. These guys continued to get better and turned into first team all conference players. The future is bright with the current group progressing and Jamie filling in with solid recruits in the middle.
