Now PITT beating Clemson is up against Ohio State beaten by Penn State.

The Clemson-Ohio State Winner will give more acclaim to either Pitt or Penn State!

Wow, what a year, rivalry, paralyzingly & alluringly, and everyone can't wait to see the Bowl Results, End of Recruiting Season, and expectations for 2017 Game at Beaver Stadium!

Good luck to all!

One of the media wonks pleading the Nits case said UPS had the best win of the year. So I guess that does it.

NOT. I would say Pitt beating Clemson in their house would be a better win than UPS beating tOSU at home, for the simple reason of home field advantage.

Correct - Clemson had a 21 game winning streak at home. Pitt clearly had the best victory. OSU beats PS if that game is in Columbus.

If Clemson beats Ohio State it ends it, if Ohio State beats Clemson, I can accept it, but it is going to be fun to watch now more than ever.

Just want Pitt to win its Bowl game!

Penn State rarely loses at home. That was not that big of an upset. Pitt on the road was far more impressive and it's not even close. Penn State might have the second best win just because Ohio state won every other game, but it's still not on the same level no matter what happens in the playoffs.

At this point it is not close. Beating a top team on the road trumps beating a top team at home. If Clemson beats them, that will only help with the narrative.

On a stand alone basis, I think the Clemson win is better.

However, where is PSU today without the tOSU win? I think that win created a lot more opportunities for them and did a lot more for their program than the Clemson win did for us.

It just depends on how you want to look at it. But without question, they gained a lot more out of the tOSU win.

Exactly. They have parlayed the osu win very well. Have to credit them for that. But the road win at clemson is easily better.
And even if osu beats clemson it doesnt change that. Psu was a trap game for them after wiscy where as psu had the week off prior. Urban is top notch at preparing for bowl games and i think that gives him the slight edge over clemson.

How is this even a discussion?

Is it tougher to beat #2 on the road or #3 at home?
Well, some PSU Fans do not want to count the First Two Games the Lions lost and feel only Lion's wins against OSU and Wisky count, they like to select what Stats count the Best? They also don't believe CFB Wins should be counted until 1966!

So, now Pitt Fans will be cheering for Clemson to beat Ohio State and many strange Cultists are actually cheering for Clemson too, and they don't know it, but that mean Pitt beat the Tougher Team too, but the Cult can't admit that either?

Can't explain how they think with Tin Foil Hats it, just posted it, so guys like you can help them see the light!!

We had the better, more impressive win. They had the win that had more impact on their season.

It is close, but I would say Pitt had a slightly better win. Not sure what the Pitt line was, but OSU was favored by 20+

I hope OSU loses every game they ever play, regardless how it impacts PSU. I will gladly take a size medium tin foil hat!

Best win this season is USC dominating Washington on the road followed by Pitt beating Clemson at Clemson and, then, PSU beating tOSU at PSU.

You are like me, can recognize the Best of both Programs. I read on BWI how many hate OSU and PITT but they don't see cheering for Clemson adds to PITT resume yet in the same thread they still think their Win is bigger than PITT over Clemson....don't need a Foil Hat to dislike OSU, they are hated many places except in Ohio. One can choose and so be it.

Each great wins for both programs, but of the two my vote is Pitt's. On the road against a team that rarely loses at home. Plus Clemson was coming off an easy game against 'Cuse while OSU came off an OT night game against Wisky on the road. Would think Clemson was better rested which makes Pitt's win more impressive.

Agree and what makes it more interesting is #2 Clemson now Plays #3 Ohio State and we shall see who is the better Team again with a win for Penn State or Pitt!

Agreed, and they play on a neutral field far from either team's natural fan base. However even if OSU wins, I feel Pitt's win was better based on the parameters surrounding the two games as I mentioned previously. OSU might be the better team but we caught them at an opportune time.

Captain, not a single Penn State fan cares whether or not our win is better or worse than Pitt's win. We want Clemson to win in an attempt to show that the CFP selection was wrong. We'd also like for Alabama to blowout UW for the same reason. This has nothing to do with Pitt.

Also, stayed with Clemson all game long, not just the second half, and Pitt gave TDs and made TDS, back and forth! The difference in playing all 4 Quarters not one half.
