The Syracuse fans hated it and did some booing. Kept yelling scoreboard also. I think its great obviously, gets the kids fired up.

I'm a big fan of it as well. Today I was not in as good of a mood as the players at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but it's great and they seem to really step it up in the 4th quarter!
It really does get the kids fired up. It's hard to believe something that small could do that, but it does. Keeps them focused.
Winning the 4th quarter is something none of our previous several coaches talked about. Nice to see a Pitt coach who emphasizes that. It has obviously paid off. That 4th quarter ritual is another little thing Dooz brought from MSU. They've been doing that since Dantonio got there.

How many times have we seen in past years a Pitt team that was down heading into the 4th quarter and just couldn't turn it on and respond with an sense of urgency.
This, my friends, is a beautiful new tradition. It may be a hard thing to prove, but I'm telling you know, this tradition will be the reason Pitt will win some games done the road it otherwise wouldn't have. It may very well have been a key determining factor in why they won today.
Our Panthers may not be the most talented group kids in the ACC, but we do have a group of kids who will give more for their coach than any other team in the conference. That's huge.
To think that Pitt is now 6-1 and yet looks like a team that has room to get better. To think we just witnessed a 4th qtr come from behind victory - something that's been quite rare over the past 10 years.
All this tells me one thing- Narduzzi is a winner.

Agree on all counts. I can't wait till they are up by 7 or 10 after 3 on Thursday night and the place goes nuts.
SU fans booed and hated it? well, honestly - I had the thought that perhaps Scott Shaffer ought to copy his old buddy Pat and introduce the concept to his team. maybe SU would hold on and win a few of those close games in the 4th quarter instead of managing to let games slip away. the 2015 Cuse look a little like the 2014 Panthers in that respect.
The fake punt was another nice move that Dantonio always liked to sneak in there. Very nice play. Game changer. Won you the game. Keep it up. I just think you guys are Michigan State Deux. Play hard. All 60 minutes. Solid D. Bend but don't break. Never give up. Watching Pitt with Narduzzi in charge is like watching another version of my beloved Spartans. Hopefully we never have to play each other. I'd want to win but beating Pitt would not be fun.

We don't have Notre Dame on our schedule this year so it is your job to beat them. Also Izzo can't beat Duke....so you know how I feel about that.
Clemson, to me, is having too easy of a row to hoe. I guess Miami really is awful. Let them coast. FSU going down to GT might allow Clemson to relax just a bit. I know Narduzzi won't let you guys relax. I'm still thinking you guys are the sleeper team in college FB.

I freaked out when I first saw Bookser on the ground. At first I thought someone got hurt in the scramble.. then I noticed he was doing crunches, and I cracked up... That is being prepared for 4th qtr....
