This team played hard today and deserved to win. Narduzzi has done an admirable job with the defense. Very good. Offensively, he cannot develop an offensive line. That is entirely his fault. He’s also one of the worst at game management. On our big drive in the second quarter that resulted in a field goal, there was chaos before the third-down play was run. It was one of the biggest plays of the game and our offense looked like a fire drill. That resulted in kicking a field goal instead of getting a touchdown. He took a time out in the first half when the clock was running down on a punt. 5 yards would’ve been no big deal but he burned a time out. And lastly but so obviously, trying to kick a field goal with five minutes left in the game from the 1 yard line is beyond ridiculous. Terrible terrible call. Beyond stupidity and not worth discussing. It is embarrassing to listen to his reasoning in the press conference after the game.
And as far as our higher ups, they also don’t get it. Scheduling Penn State and Central Florida back to back in the preseason is absolutely ridiculous. Again beyond stupidity. I know Heather Lyke didn’t do this but it is time that she stepped her game up too. Other than making a decent hire for the basketball team, our other sports For most part are lower level??
