The XFL officially ceased operations today. Honestly, this is almost certainly for the best and will probably save everyone a bunch of time and money in the long run.

It has just never been a good idea for a myriad of reasons.

I actually wish the NFL would adopt their rules.

And lax officiating! It was great that they seemed to throw very few flags. Only very obvious things.

I'd love if they adopted their replay system. The games I watched, there where maybe 4-5 replay reviews max per game, and they just shoved them along really fast and got back to the action within 1-2 minutes max.

I find the NFL uninteresting enough that I don't need a 2nd prof football league.
With that said, I was rooting for it to fold, much like I don't want the NBA or MLB to fold despite how freaking boring they are too.
