Well..............we had people (immigrants) flock to America to seek a better life. They worked hard, pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps and didn't live off of the government's teat and not assimilate. Immigrants that built this country, while keeping their culture, food, art, music, they also learned the language and assimilated and contributed to society. They contributed; they did not just take. Now many, not all, but are here for more nefarious reasons just like we see in Europe, especially the UK, Germany and of all places, Sweden. They have relied on typical Western tolerance and also guilt to not rebuke their efforts to convert areas into Islamic and terrorist and gang strongholds. I would think this is self explanatory.
Just want to define assimilate: the embraced unalienable rights as expressing in the Declaration and shared a moral code based generally ipon Western Christian values.
