And it was a damn good one. Credit to everyone involved, there was no weak link today. Dixon did a great job preparing our guys, they came out of the gates like Usain Bolt, kept the pedal to the metal, and played right through the hiccups instead of faltering as they did against UL and at various other times. The defense was excellent particularly in the backcourt. JROB amd Jones did a great job on the Duke guards. Everyone played really well and Dixon did a great job pulling the strings.
I'll be honest, when Kennard came in and started draining threes while Ingram was dong whatever he wanted, and Duke ran off a 9-2 run into halftime, I thought we were going to fold up. Instead we amped it up another notch. We finally finished one, and emphatically.
