Tbh this makes me even more pissed because we would have won the game if we played like this in both halves. Just shows me even more the staff sucks, the players pick and choose when to try hard and actually play with intensity.

Why kill the messenger? There is no way he gets the axe all things considered.
The basketball team is an 8-15 bottom feeder with 0 recruits playing in an empty Pete. All things considered there is no option, but to get rid of him and make payments on the buyout.
Record is poor, but too much money on the table, kids have not given up obviously, bad cops/injuries,Covid, his work in the community, AD loves his political activism, etc,.
He could fix all of Pittsburgh's bridges with the bricks his team has shot this year
Well, I am not sure it is sarcasm but it is contrary to how I feel about the situation , I think it is more the stark reality. Why did he get that ridicules extension?

I had really good seats tonight (thank you Stubhub) and I could see the energy/effort in the 1st Half. We weren't playing defense (or offense) at all. The kids looked depressed. You could see it on their faces. Like they didn't feel like playing. I don't know how a D1 player can come out and play like that and yes, that goes to coaching but they were as bad as you could possibly be in the 1st Half. Yea, VT shot something ridiculous like 12-14 from 3 but most were WIDE open.
But, you could SEE the difference up close in how locked in they were in the 2nd Half. They looked, for a half, like the old Dixon teams. We basically got Stallings 0-18 for a half and Dixon for a half. I know we lost and it sucked but that 2nd Half of basketball was absolutely beautiful. Its been a LONG time since I've seen a team be that dominant and since I've seen The Pete that into the game. It was actually fun....for a half.

The problem is...there is NO ANSWERS on this roster. NONE. What, you think Will Jeffress morphs into Sam Young, and Noah Collier, Chevy Troutman? Who are the guards?? Capel has ZERO PLAYERS COMMITTED FOR NEXT YEAR.
The people defending Capel are a complete joke. Hugley, Burton, and Odukale are the only ACC level players who are eligible to return. The rest of them are end of the bench type guys with limited upside. Capel has 0 recruits. It’s over. Pull the plug.

Femi and Odukale are the same guy. And neither of them are ACC starting caliber players.
But you said we have a 4 star dude coming in 2023!!! What you gonna minimize that now?
Femi, Burton, Horton, and Sibande are "league average" guards. They are most certainly ACC level. We can debate if they are average, above average, or below average but they are all ACC caliber. However, you cannot win with "league average" guards. You need a few of them to make an improvement next season....and that is possible.
The new coach will have Burton, Nike Oladapo and maybe Horton. That is 3 or 4 down with 9 or 10 to go.

-Horton is not seeing the floor for any ACC team with a pulse.

A 7th/8th man as a sophomore on a "decent" ACC team as you say doesn't suck. That's a solid starter as a junior and a plus player as a senior.
I’ve watched enough of him. He’s athletically gifted but fundamentally deficient. He makes poor decisions. He doesn’t shoot the ball well. He turns it over too often. He lacks scoring touch.
Other than that he’s awesome.
That's fine but you said he's 7th man kn a decent ACC team which by definition makes him an ACC player. He is a league average guard, right now as a sophomore like I said.
