It’s a fun rivalry. It’ll be interesting to see if a rivalry with Stanford develops in the coming years too. The ACC is going to be one of the best conferences with Pitt, Louisville, Stanford and Georgia Tech at the top and a steadily improving group of “second tier” teams developing behind them.
Louisville was too one dimensional this year and still made it to the regional finals with outstanding defense and sheer determination.
