It is almost impossible to win and very difficult to have confidence as a team with sub-par quarterback play. Coaches rise or fall depending on the QB (Narduzzi and Belicheck to name two). .

For fans to not worry about the portal. Some players that fans worried about might not have been as good as thought, or victims of coaching or players around them. But, it does not appear there are many irreplaceable players on this roster right now.

To never anticipate more playing time for Daniel Carter regardless of his results in limited play.

No matter how much the coaches and players talk about the 3 deep positions in fall camp (ex tight ends with incredible wing spans), take it with a grain of salt.

Sometimes it appears you have great depth but it might be because many of the starters and backups are about the same talent level. That is not always good. The defensive line two years ago had real depth, not so much this year.

The offensive philosophy must change prior to selecting a coordinator. Pitt must move to a faster paced, quarterback driven offense, with multiple run/pass options. The current endless huddles regardless of score, conservative play calling is okay but if only if you have a top ten offensive line, a big time Izzy like RB, and shut down defense. Pitt does not need any more recruiting disadvantages, especially at QB.

I am tired of an offense supposedly designed to not lose the game but is so conservative, it continually puts the team in a bad spot. And, it is inexcusable for the score to be 17-7 against a #4 ranked team and you are 2-6, and continue to just try to keep it close.

Punting is an important part of football.

Need the HS running back Willis from NJ to add some dynamic play to the RB room, similar to Izzy.

Yeah, Belichick is 2-7 also. Narduzzi is just like him, without the accomplishments.
uh, when Narduzzi goes 11-5 with the college QB equivalent of Matt Cassel we can start the "just like him" talk...

Well, one of those guys is considered by everyone on earth to be one of the greatest coaches, if not the greatest coach in pro football history, the other attempted a FG on 4th and goal from the one trailing his arch rival by 7 with 4 minutes left.

Belichick blows. The proof is in his numbers with and without Brady. Eff him.
