I think Phil just made himself the most entertaining subject of the season. He is getting a healthy dose of humiliation. Some people come out way better from it. Others become worse.
I don’t think he sees his play was even remotely poor. Which adds to some of the entertainment (ironic lack of awareness), kind of like a Frank Burns of MASH kind of cartoonish arrogance … but the problem is that it would be at the expense of continued sh1tty play, which far, far negates the entertainment value of his continued crapulous statements
