This doesn’t just look like Vayer’s first start….

Dude looks completely overwhelmed.
Some players have it. They walk out there the first time they start like they go into a game and play with big balls, make some mistakes but make some plays. This guy is scared. That tells me he’ll never be any good, which explains why he’s here to begin with.

All due credit. He looked like a new man after he connected with Means on that long TD. He wasn’t spectacular but he made some good decisions, some nice throws, and got the job done, and that’s what playing QB is about.

Protection was surprisingly good especially after what UL did to ND’s O line last week. The defense came out of its shell and played the way everyone expected it to. The players didn’t quit on their coach and season, instead, they rallied. Great win. All encouraging stuff.

To the clowns who said he didn’t start because he’s terrible and the coaches know better. You’re a$$wipes. Phil Jurko loses this by 24.

It looks like it’s his first time playing football.

Nice job starting and continuing this thread. How about
a follow up post about how off you were about "Vayer."

He may stink out the joint next game but he played well enough tonight and will only get better with more reps. Would like to see more designed running plays for him moving forward, he’s quicker than I expected. At the very least he looks like he has enough talent to give us some optimism for next season.
