1. Pederson came to Pitt to become an Athletic Director so he could leave for Nebraska!
2. Graham came to Pitt to become a Head Coach Power Conference and left for ASU ASAP!
3. Chryst came to Pitt because no one wanted to work under Pederson and no one wanted to hire Paul Chryst so Alvarez sent him to Pitt to get a Head Coaching Experience and never intended to stay at Pitt!
Coach Pat Narduzzi came to Pitt because he wanted to be at Pitt! Pitt is It for Coach pat not for his Personal Pockets but for Pitt Pride & the Players know it!
Yep. This team has a different mental makeup and they are doing this with a lack of talent on defense and without their best player on offense. Very impressed so far.
Let's hope you're right. I worry because of Pitt's history with head coaches that a couple great years by Narduzzi and the BIG BOYS might be calling. Will Narduzzi be loyal or will he bolt? I definitely worry about a scenario like that.
I keep making this point. He WANTS to be at Pitt, and genuinely sees something here. This program has had that once since Foge, with Wanny, and while Wanny was stuck in Miami Vice times when he came here, Nards is very much in tune with college football in the year 2015.
Do yourself a favor and watch Narduzzi and his post game presser. Still amped up. Has great strategy and quotes. What a coach
Narduzzi is already putting himself in a position to be a legendary coach here at Pitt. Whether he bites at a big money, high pressure program down the road remains to be seen. We should be a little more confident that this new administration will do what it can to keep him here once this situation comes up.
