Yes, they are a public school, and a great program for which I have the utmost respect, but let’s not pretend that they don’t frequently benefit from “ move-ins”. I don’t even know if Seth Hogue ever lived in PA. They may not have the same liberties as BECAHI or St. Joe’s, but don’t think they aren’t bringing in great wrestlers for athletic purposes. As did Canon Mac. The public schools recruit too. It just takes a little more effort.

I think Cole will do great things for Pitt he’s definitely off to a great start. He’s not the first to come from Reynolds either. HW Cole Rickert is a Reynolds grad too. There have been a handful over the years. Mark Bodo was also an asset to his team in the 90’s, Jon Hazi, Justin Nestor.

That’s my HS. Wrestling is a religion there. Unfortunately, it was not my forte, but I still love following them, and the sport.

I can’t speak to what has happened since 1993, but I was close with all the guys on the squad when I was there, and grew up with all of them.
