Haha I was thinking the same thing. Someone needs to tell poker that trump gained voters in every demographic and had the strongest minority support of any Republican ever. MAGA isn’t a white political movement. It’s the largest political coalition of people of all time.

Interesting quote. Trump received less than 50% of the popular vote in the last election and beat Harris by only 1.5%, hardly a mandate. And now after two months Trump is sliding in the polls and there are protests throughout the country, even in red states!
Have to admit, there is a little freudenschade for those that voted for Trump, who are going to lose their freedoms and benefits like Medicaid and other services, again disproportionately in the poorer red states.
I apologize for the freudenschade because in the end we’re all going to lose when the U.S. becomes a dictatorship.
Well it’s not hyperbole so whatever makes you feel better. Maybe it wasn’t all trump. Maybe it was also due to the Dems being more unpopular than at any time in history. So either way, Trump had 77 million votes, won in an electoral landslide, swept the swing states and had gains in 89% of the counties in the US. Either way you look at it, more blacks, Hispanics, minorities in general, youth, etc etc…they all swung in trumps direction.
And as far as Medicaid, it’s typical Dem fear mongering. I didn’t think intelligent people fell for that kind of stuff. Guess I was wrong.

Let's go through some of this:
1. "Trump is sliding in the polls" - His approval has dropped all of 1.3% in the last month.

2. "There are protests in red states" - Are there any red states with 100% red voters? In other words, there are plenty of Dem people living in red states and they are being organized by groups like Indivisible, a progressive organization partially funded by Soros.
3. "People are going to lose their freedoms" - No one is losing any freedoms. If you have lost any, please point them out.
4. "People are losing Medicaid and other services" - There is no budget cuts to Medicaid. If you have lost any benefits, please point them out.
5. The US will become a dictatorship" - Maybe someday, but certainly not under Trump. A real dictator doesn't cede control of education by giving it to the states. Hitler said "whoever has the youth has the future." Dictators don't shrink the size of the government they control. Your point doesn't make sense.
Very simply, Trump’s ratings are lower than any other President this early in their administration at roughly 47% approval, clearly moving in the wrong direction after 60 days. Trump’s polls on Ukraine and the economy are very low as well.
American citizens have actually been deported in the Trump dragnet, one for having the wrong tattoo. The Trump Administration just last week broke into a private think tank with police assistance. This is all very chilling.
Medicaid was literally on the chopping block in the Congressional budget, that’s why there is a CR because even some Republicans can’t go along with what the Trump administration is proposing.
Trump is ignoring court orders and dismantling departments and agencies, all are in violation of the Constitution and in the authoritarian play book, a’la Viktor Orban.
There are anti-Trump protests in Wyoming and Idaho and Texas and Nevada. You could probably Google some other states as well.

Trumps approval among republicans is close to 80%. Now who do you think are really protesting in red states? Don’t be so gullible. And Dems approval sits between 21-27%. I think you need focus elsewhere.
Dems could win in 2028 if they nominated a guy like Andy Beshear, the popular Dem Governor who won 2 terms in ruby red Kentucky. Moderate.

It’s a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 and has nothing to do with the executive branch. None of its employees are government works.
When was the last time the Congress actually passed a budget on time? I think it was 28 years ago. The House Republican budget plan framework calls for Energy and Commerce Committee to find $880 billion. The only program under their jurisdiction big enough to realize those cuts is Medicaid.
The first 2 were, the last one of three took off after the ruling was handed down. They ignored the judge's ruling. Trump is now blaming it on Marco Rubio and saying he didn't sign the order, even though his signature is on the order.
Has anyone asked anyone in Hungary if they are threatened? Orban is trying to keep Hungary, Hungarian and not let it become overrun with African and Muslim migrants which is bringing down the quality of life and all that has been touted in other European countries.
