I'm aware of that, but would feel even better if I solved a Pitt guy wanted to sell them.If you don't get anything here, there's lots of tickets available on the secondary markets. Stubhub has a bunch.
but I'd love to get 2 tix for Saturdays game. I got really into Pitt hoops before 1974, but that group cemented it.
If anybody has 2 good seats, I'd be grateful to buy them at a going rate.
He wants to buy them from a ticket holder at regular price. Probably donates to Pitt even without going to games.Didnt you used to rag on me for buying on Stubhub and not supporting the program? Just buy the tickets through Pitt and practice what you preach.
I don't need a cost break. I'll check with the school. He wants to buy them from a ticket holder at regular price. Probably donates to Pitt even without going to games.
Yes, properly. Now we know you drive a toxic auto. 21st century Yuppie!!Didnt you used to rag on me for buying on Stubhub and not supporting the program? Just buy the tickets through Pitt and practice what you preach.

Wow.....I just bought 2 good seats downstairs. Thanks, though...I'll keep this. Is that the school's system? I go way back to walk in for $7, 2 rows beyond the Pitt bench.Type in code “MBSTR23” at the top which gives season tix rate
Why are you against EVs? I don't care at all about the environment but its unbelievable to never have to waste time filling your care up with gas. It is so freeing.Yes, properly. Now we know you drive a toxic auto. 21st century Yuppie!!
Went on the system here (Is that Pitt or Rivals??) had nothing decent. I'll have my autograph set up to get a selfie stand print!! Is $15 too little?
Under Crabtree hall across fro western psycheWhere is the best place to park? I have been parking by the baseball stadium but I want to park closer.
A bunch of guys Levance, Biggs, Sam Young will be in attendance. Should be a fun day.
Alana and I are going. I'll look out for you. Doing Hemingways?Wow.....I just bought 2 good seats downstairs. Thanks, though...I'll keep this. Is that the school's system? I go way back to walk in for $7, 2 rows beyond the Pitt bench.

Can you go on long trips?? No. When you need to charge away from your home, how long?? Low temps, high temps mean extra charges and less convenience. The machinery will get better, but the infrastructure is about 10 years behind. Why are you against EVs? I don't care at all about the environment but its unbelievable to never have to waste time filling your care up with gas. It is so freeing.
No. My knee is bothering me....had a cortisone session that seems to have improved. When is the ceremony for the 74/09 teams?Alana and I are going. I'll look out for you. Doing Hemingways?
Right at the top it says “Enter Promo Code”.I went onto the website to see how much tickets were. Good Lord. $80 for lower corner. $70 for lower baseline. No wonder Pitt can't sell any tickets and has to offer discount codes. Even for the 9PM Tuesday night game vs FSU, tickets only drop by $10. FWIW, I don't even get an option to enter a discount. Was wondering what that drops them to.
I think most of us disagree but Pitt has, for years, made the decision to premium price tickets to gouge the richest/most loyal fans. So they make as much or more money than if they significantly reduced prices and filled the arena. If I was a new coach coming in, I'd demand the arena be full. I'd say I dont care how you do it but I'm not playing conference games in front of 4000 people.
Which do you drive? I rent cars a lot and often get an EV. Now I’m hearing rental car companies are moving away from EVs. A recent grand Cherokee I rented, I couldn’t for the life of me understand the benefit. I saved like one gallon of fuel per day on a 13 hour charge at home but obviously would have subsequent increase to my electric bill. I suppose if my daily round trip commute was 20 miles or less, then it would be “freeing”. But then if my commute was that short I wouldnt need a big expensive care with all the bells and whistles. Why are you against EVs? I don't care at all about the environment but its unbelievable to never have to waste time filling your care up with gas. It is so freeing.

The % of new EVs sold last year dropped from 9% in 2022 to 8% in 2023. Hardly a good sign.\And Tesla's quality record is like Yugo.
And the left never mentions the toxicity issue. The gov't is a stooge for radicals.
You're somewhat on the right track. People that buy EV's based on "cost savings" don't know anything about calculating cost to own a vehicle. There is no cost savings until they drop another 30% in sticker price. There are reasons to buy an EV, but saving money isn't one of them.I don't drive for "long trips." I'm either going on a 3-5 hour trip, which I take it on or I am flying cross-country or down south. Yes, I drive it for 3-5 hour trips. Charge once for about 45 minutes while you are getting something to eat. But this is like 3-4 times PER YEAR. Then there is the cost savings but I wouldn't say that is a primary reason to get an EV because you are paying more for the car and the insurance is probably $25-$30 more per month since they are costly to repair if you get into an accident. Also, the tires wear faster than a normal car due to the weight of the battery so you are getting new tires like 25% more frequently. My app says I saved $1847 in gas in the last 12 months but that is overestimated because they overestimate the current PA price of gas by about 20%. So, in reality, I probably saved $1500, paid $350 more in insurance. The extra tire cost is harder to figure out but you also dont have the cost of oil changes or any other tune-ups since your only "part" is the battery. There's nothing that can break.
For me, the never having to stop at a gas station is basically life-changing. How many times are you late for some place but then realize you need gas? Or its 10 degrees out and you gotta get out and pump gas? Pumping your own gas is time consuming and a major inconvenience. I'd never go back just for that alone. The self-driving is really useful too.
45 minutes in a charging station is nice?? Better than 5-7 minutes in Sheetz?? Paying $30-40K takes a awhile to amortize the outlay. Self-driving will be banned.I don't drive for "long trips." Got it. You don't take trips like we do, but that's a big cost for an everyday scooter. We still drive a lot and EVs don't work for us. And we can't have a charger here.....we rent.Buddy, do you understand the words that I am saying? Its like 3-4 times per YEAR that I have to do that and the tradeoff is skipping 100 or so trips to the gas pump per year. And humans have to eat and go to the bathroom so you can time your stops for when you need to eat or go to a store or something. Several times, the charge is done before we are.

Buy a hybrid and you have a shot.
We clocked 3000 in October. Do that most years. We spent 7000 in Sept 2021. And we travel as far as Chicago/Philly, a couple times a year.If you are driving to Myrtle Beach or Florida 4-5 times per year then its probably not a good idea to get an EV. But you arent driving that much. No way. 99.999% of Americans arent making more than 3-4 7+ hour one way drives per year.
But, yea, obviously if you rent and cant charge there, then its certainly not worth it.

A trip to Myrtle is about 700 miles. You'd need at least 2 charges to get there. An extra couple hours on a boring trip.
And the monthly recalls add up.
Finally, Tesla makes fugly cars. The others, ???
There's reasons for mkt share to shrink about 10 % . And the rental outfits are bailing out a bit. Price cuts needed.
Big game this evening. We're showing up. Been a while. Loved the 74 team.
I usually make about 5-6 of those a year. You may be in the .0001% of Americans who make more than 4 7+ hour one-way drives per year. Very few people do that. If you are driving as many miles as a trucker, yea, it aint for you. I put 32K miles on it last year with many 3-5 hour trips and it was no problem. Charge when need to eat and go to the bathroom. I dont think you are grasping that those charging breaks on long trips eliminate the need to ever get gas locally. People dont understand how great it is to never have to stop at local gas stations. The amount of time saved throughout the year dwarfs the charging breaks needed on long trips. Also, the recalls are just software updates like rebooting your computer.
Coming to Hemingway’s?We clocked 3000 in October. Do that most years. We spent 7000 in Sept 2021. And we travel as far as Chicago/Philly, a couple times a year.
