Agree. We need to win all our home games and one away game to get to .500 in the league, which, by the way I didn't think was attainable at the start of the year. .500 gets us to 19 wins ad IMO on the bubble.

Exactly. Pitt lost to them in Miami more because Pitt went the first 7 minutes without scoring a point. That had very little to do with Lykes.

Long scoring droughts and big deficits are typically things that are very difficult to overcome in the end. Pitt has come back and closed the gap at times when that’s happened. But it’s really difficult to overcome that and then win the game.

Yea looking at the ACC now there is a complete log jam in the middle and these next 4 games with Miami Notre Dame Georgia Tech and Clemson are all winnable games and Pitt could very easily be sitting here at the end of that stretch at 17-8 and 8-6 in the ACC if this team steps up and plays like they are capable of playing.

Nice to be this optimistic. However, I still am inclined to believe that winning a total of 4 more the rest of the way is this team's current ceiling and we should not be disappointed with such a result.

IMHO, if Coulibaly mainly and less likely Drumgoole can add positive sophmore-like contributions the rest of the way, only then will we have a legit shot at 0.500 in the league.

No Lykes would for sure help a lot. Have Toney keep playing how he's playing on offense, then get him to *shut down* a guy while on defense, is much needed. Like to believe the team plays better at home..plus we need the W badly.

Yep, must win. They are at the point where they need to get the homecourt wins against the mid tier ACC teams 9.5 out of 10 times.

They literally could not stop Lykes when he was able to stay on the court down there, so would be great news if he cant go.
