the Narduzzi hire. We will not see the immediate success or dividends right away. But just like what Coach Narduzzi is doing on the football side of things, there WILL BE movement in a positive direction going forward with Coach Capel. We will rebuild and be patient along the way. This is a new day and new beginning for not only the athletic department in general but for the MBP. To me it sends a positive message throughout the country. What that message is, is open to interpretation but overall to me it does send a very positive message and makes Ms. Lyke a quick rising star in the athletic community. I'm sure a lot of schools will come sniffing around her now so we have to be vigilant in keeping her. She has/is doing an amazing job changing the culture, rebranding, and rebuilding the overall Athletic Dept in my opinion. Again, congratulations her and to all who had a hand in this. There is a level of excitement that hasn't been seen for the MBP in a very long time probably since when Coach Dixon's last ride in the tourney (and that's pushing it).
