How can you build a statue of a local legendary entertainer when there are people dying in Africa?

But seriously .
Shouldn't a statue be about the life of a struggle . A family struggle through the mountains of Italia . Through the Nazi regime . Through truly thick and thin . Only to struggle in the mean streets of earlier Pgh. Pa.
To grow and become the success that he lived and ultimately died for .
A True And Honest Man . A Success .

Yeah, I agree with you. I think it’s a good idea – I really do. I couldn’t possibly care less about professional wrestling and even I think it’s a really good idea.

Yeah, he was a famous actor - kinda like Jimmy Stewart and Gene Kelly, and they built statues of those guys too, didn’t they? The city of Pittsburgh needs to fund it, or find someone else to fund it, but seriously, I’m completely on board.

Good point . He also knew he was . An entertainer .
That sold out Madison square garden 187 times . Gratis .

Curious: How many statues are there in Pittsburgh that has nothing to do with sports or entertainment???

There's a JFK statue in McKeesport too. Also, there;s Mr. Rogers, who is more of a philanthropist than an entertainer.
