Kinda think the whole super senior thing retarded any hopeful development that may have happened if given the chance — the underclassmen and the recruits that weren’t brought on board. Wanny won 7 games his last season and went 5-2 in league play. We’re not going to touch anything like that this year. And I’m not a Wanny supporter, for the record. I think we’ll find a way to beat 1-2 more of the bottom feeders on the schedule. That’s it.

A down year or two is one thing after 8 years as head coach, a catastrophic plunge from mediocre to laughably terrible is another. People are laughing at Pitt football right now. Look no further than the bewildered announcers for any of the last couple of games. And it isn’t the first time in this knucklehead’s tenure here.
