Pitt needs to win the bowl game to go into the offseason on a positive note. The talent level should improve except at WR (although the depth there should really improve). This years team fought in every game and only in the ND game were they completely out of it by the 4th qtr. I think Narduzzi has done a great job with perception of the program now he just needs to keep things moving in the right direction.
I expect recruiting will finish strong and then next year my expectation (way too early)will be a repeat 8-4 regular season with losses to Clemson, OK ST, And two coastal teams. Marshall and PSU are key games because even though Marshall is very good the perception of losing to a lower conference team would hurt. PSU may not be the rivalry it once was but for Narduzzi to keep pushing back Jimmy Franks he is going to have to show it on the field.
