1. Wow what an atmosphere! Inside and outside of the stadium. That was up there in the Top 5 for loudest and craziest games I've ever attended over the last 5x decades. PS Fun catching up with a lot of my fellow Lairsmen and women and a special shout out to @Charlotteyinzer96 for his usual bomb biggity tailgate.
2. We have another future NFL QB folks. Does he hold the ball a tad too long? Sure does but I would rather have that than a reckless interception machine who puts our D in bad spots. Can't wait to see how good he is in ACC play.
3. WVU was a lot better than expected and JT Daniels is one tough and talented SOB. That kid took a beating and kept on slinging.
4. Cautious, conservative gameplan by Cig almost cost Pitt. If they are gonna put 8-9 guys on the LOS you've gotta make them pay w play action.
5. Where were our TE's? Hope they're not on a milk carton the rest of the year cuz we need em to make some lays down the seam to open up the O.
6. Love Duzz's bravado. Way to call out ESPN and their utter nonsense. Special shout out to the Panther Pit. Those kids are awesome game after game!
7. Gutless call by Brown w 4th and inches at the 50. Probably saved the game for Pitt. That big pony was gashing Pitt all night, so why not go for it there?
8. Gotta beat Tenn this week to keep the NATIONAL momentum going. Yeah Yeah Yeah I know the ACC title is the goal for some but why not reach for the stars and talk Natty?
9. John Morgan is a M A N. Picked up the slack for a few other potential AA's who had pretty lackluster games. 87 has got to be coached to hold the edge on run AND pass plays. A lot of those sideline completions were because he was pushed inside and allowed Daniels to roll left.
10. Horrific LB play outside of 7. Looked slow, tentative and clueless against the run. I expect to improve as the season goes on but there's a reason why Simon couldn't get on the field at ND.
11. For every idiot yelling "Sihhhhddahhhhhn" at fans standing and cheering like every other raucous CFB stadium across the country here's some advice: STAY HOME or sit in the Club. Simply unbelievable - LOL
12. MJ Devonshire just has a nose for big plays. Glad he came to senses and came back home.
13. Need a big game from Izzy and better LB play next week to beat the Vols - H2P!
