1. Louisville offense is putrid. Gonna be a long year for them.
2. Watson has not been impressive and has accuracy problems. He may do better in the second half but he does not look the elite college QB that he's advertised to be.
3. Clemson is ranked about right, but they won't sniff the playoff. They just aren't that great, and they never are.
4. Louisville unis are disgraceful. This trend of uniforms that don't even have the schools' traditional colors in them is really bad.

Louisville plays Samford next weekend which they should win but then they go to Raleigh to play NC State and then they play FSU...probably going to open the season 1-5 unless they somehow beat NC State.

They got a lot of young players and played 2 top 20 teams pretty well. I think they'll be ok this year, but I think next year is where they take a nice step forward.

Had a decent year last year. They will be good when he gets the right QB and some of those younger offensive players mature. The D looks pretty solid. Petrino is one of those guys whose track record speaks for itself. It's like a veteran career .300 hitter in MLB. He may have an extended midseason slump where he can;t his a beach ball on a tee, but eventually at the end of the year, the number will still be .300. Bobby P is a scumbag, but he knows his craft.

To be fair to the L'Ville offense, they are starting a large number of underclassmen on that side of the ball. They have talent at the WR position, but the majority are freshman. Couple that with an inexperienced QB, and you will have the sort of issues they're currently working through.

This isn't unlike some of the issues we're seeing with the passing game. Outside of Boyd and Holtz, there is not a ton of experience lining up on passing plays; coupled with a 2 QB system with one of the QBs still learning the names of the players on offense (yes, this is overly dramatic for a reason).

Agree. Not impressed with him last night. Also tried to force balls into tight coverage a few times, once resulting in an interception (I see he had 2 interceptions, but missed what happened with the second)
